What we do and for who
The Utrecht Health Seed Fund invests in promising start-ups that:
- Are developing a product or service in the field of life sciences & health.
- Are in an early stage of development (TRL 2–7).
- Have registered offices in the province of Utrecht.
The UHSF looks to invest a minimum of €100K – €250K in the form of a convertible loan or equity, preferably in partnership with co-investors.
We do so in Life Sciences (biotech, pharmaceuticals, diagnostics), Digital Health, Medical Devices, and Animal Health sectors. The fund aims to help promising start-ups scale up at a stage when funding is often scarce.
The UHSF opened for proposals in March, 2020.
