Investment fund for science based startups
The Utrecht Holdings Seed Fund invests in science-based startups in: Life Sciences / MedTech, Digital Innovation and Sustainability. It is managed by Utrecht Holdings.
The fund is reflecting the research focus of its investors: Utrecht University and University Medical Centre Utrecht, following on the success of the Utrecht Health Seed Fund (UHSF I).
We will continue investing in the innovations coming from – and linked to – the UU and UMCU.
Our aim is to create broader impact with scientific research.
The minimum ticket size is EUR 100,000; on average we invest EUR 300,000 in a first round financing, preferably tranched to meaningful milestones.
